In October 2015, a revised version of ISO 9001 was released.  This brings benefits and challenges to clients who seek to maintain existing certification or who are going for certification for the first time.  We are already help a number of clients who are preparing for certification / recertification by adapting their quality management systems to the new requirements.  Changeover to the 2015 version of ISO 9001 must occur before October 2018.  However, in order to successfully make the transition, businesses will need to begin the process well in advance of this deadline so as to build up sufficient records and to remove any problems from the system during the changeover.
